Somehow we’ve demystified our faith. The Eucharist is our ultimate union, and our prayers are a chorus of supernatural echoes offered as incense to a beloved Father, and yet, we have forgotten the awe and wonder. Most of all we have forgotten that the goal of our faith isn’t just “doing things right and getting into heaven” but utter union with our Beloved.
Over the last few years, I have focused on the contemplation tradition of our faith on my podcast, St. Anthony’s Tongue. This January I began a new Mysticism 101 type video series called “Magnificat”. Before resuming the series, I wanted to share this reflection video.
